Package design is an intregal part of your company's representation. To the customer, your packaging reflects the quality and value of your product. The same product, presented with professional design work, can instill much more confidence in your consumer's purchase decision.
Here is an example of the case in point -- this client had a very high-end, great quality product. The original design (left) was utilitarian and presented the product adequately, but they wanted to demonstrate the real value to the customer, as well as present a sense of adventure and the outdoors more in keeping with the company profile.
